People often come to the text of the Bible hoping to extract a few useful tips on how to live the good life. We want the gift of patience, a way to handle despair, or advice on choosing good friends. We want a better life. Approach the Bible that way and you’ll be reading in the dark.
The truth is that the Bible is a historical drama unfolding from first to last with Jesus Christ as the central character. Who Jesus is and what he did in history makes all the difference. Jesus made a bold claim. He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” We embrace the claim of Jesus that “these are the very Scriptures that testify about me.” The Bible is the account of the only true Light of the world. Approach the Bible that way and you’ll be reading with the lights on.
Sunday Family Bible Study
Sundays from 9:20 AM to 10:15 AM

Join us for Family Bible Study on Sunday mornings between worship services to dig deeper into God’s truths for us in our lives. During challenging times and joyful times, we learn to fix our eyes on Jesus, His truths, how vital He is in our lives, and our eternal future. Each week we explore a different topic so join us anytime. God has so much to tell us, to help us, at all times!
Our study is taught in a relaxed, family atmosphere. All ages are welcome! There are activity pages for the children that correlate with the lesson being studied, and they participate in the beginning of Bible study with their parents. At 9:50am, children are welcome to go with a teacher to the room across the hall. There they learn and explore the same portion of God's Word through felt board, video, crafts, etc. and sing praises to Jesus. At 10:10am the children are brought back to their parents in Bible study. Parents have the option of their children staying with them for all of Bible study; in this case parents with little ones may wish to bring along a snack or coloring book for them.
Women's Bible Study
Every other Saturday at 9:00 AM

No matter your journey in life or your age, as women, we are all in need of “recharging and refreshing” time. What better way than to hear and learn from the precious words of our Lord as He pours His peace and hope into us! Our Bible Study exists to nurture, encourage, and equip women to faithfully and fully use their God-given gifts to glorify God.
We are currently studying Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Paul wrote his letter to them while he was a prisoner, and in it he reminded the Ephesians of what God’s great power and grace has done for believers. That means you, too! Bring your Bible; if you don’t have one, we will supply you with one! We will be using The People’s Bible Galatians/Ephesians book for reference as well, and we have copies available.
