Women of all ages are invited to set aside the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and take a quiet evening to focus our hearts and minds on the true joy of the season...the birth of our Savior! Join us on Saturday, December 10th in Immanuel’s lower level for our Women’s Advent by Candlelight.

The evening begins at 5:30pm to enjoy viewing the tables illuminated with candlelight. An hour to enjoy desserts and social time is followed by a special program and music at 7pm. Our evening focuses on "Waiting for the Lord." We’re going to hear from some women who really knew what it meant to wait. These women lived in a time with no Internet, no cell phones, and no ATMs—even without our modern-day grocery stores. They had no choice but to wait for things that we consider everyday conveniences. There’s something else that’s special about these women… they were also waiting on some very special promises from the Lord himself.
