Mrs. Wilson has been a teacher and school music director at Immanuel since 2019, initially teaching both 3rd and 4th grades. She has over 25 years of elementary and preschool teaching experience, having also taught at St. John’s Lutheran School in Newtonburg for three years, Peace Lutheran School in Livonia, Mich. for 10 years and Lord and Savior Lutheran School in Crystal Lake, Ill. for eight years.
Ann is a 1996 graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn., graduating with a BS in Education, and also received her Wisconsin State Teaching Certification in 2019. She serves as one of the organists at Immanuel and as a member of the MLHS Education Committee.
Ann grew up in Midland, Michigan and is married to David, who is principal and 7th & 8th grade teacher at Immanuel. They have two daughters and sons-in-law: Emma and her husband teach at a Lutheran grade school in Maitland, FL, and Elaina and her husband are in their final year of studies at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wis. Ann’s hobbies include camping, hiking, and cooking.
