Mrs. Mehlhorn joined the staff of Immanuel Lutheran School in the fall of 2024 as our full-time Educational Interpreter for the Deaf, supporting a hearing-impaired student. Angie has held multiple educational interpreter positions over the years, as well as being a stay-at-home mom, and most recently spent 8 years as a part-time interpreter in the Manitowoc Public School District. She graduated from North Central Technical College, Wausau, WI, in 1997 with an associates degree.
Angie and her husband, Brian, have four children: Mallory attends Concordia University in Mequon for nursing, twins Lilly and Marissa are juniors at Manitowoc Lutheran High School, and son, Luke, is an 8th grader at St. John’s Lutheran in Two Rivers, where the Mehlhorns are members, and where Angie has also coached volleyball and basketball in the past. She enjoys watching sports, especially volleyball, football, and soccer, and especially her own children’s sporting events.
Please welcome Angie to Immanuel when you meet her. She feels, in her own words, “…blessed to be at Immanuel Lutheran as (our) first Educational Interpreter for the Deaf!”
