Mr. Wilson has over 25 years of teaching and administrative experience.  He graduated from (Dr.) Martin Luther College (MLC) in New Ulm, Minn. in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. He was awarded a Master's degree in Education, with a Leadership emphasis, in the spring of 2018. He also holds a teaching license for the state of Wisconsin.

Mr. Wilson has been principal and teacher at Immanuel since 2016. His past experience includes serving as principal and 7th & 8th grade teacher from 2006-2016 at Peace Lutheran School in Livonia, Mich. From 1996-2006 he served as principal, athletic director, and upper grades teacher at Lord and Savior Lutheran School in Crystal Lake, IL.

Mr. Wilson was born in Garberville, Calif., but calls Crystal Lake, IL his hometown.  He and his wife, Ann, who teaches 3rd grade at Immanuel, have two daughters and two sons-in-law: Emma and her husband teach at a Lutheran grade school in Maitland, FL, and Elaina and her husband are in their final year of studies at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wis. Mr. Wilson’s hobbies include fishing and camping with his family.
