Mr. Warnecke joined Immanuel’s faculty in August 2024, having previously taught at Risen Savior Lutheran School in Milwaukee from 2020-2024, and at King of Kings Lutheran School in Maitland, Florida from 2016-2020. Originally from Watertown, Wis., Phil graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2016 with degrees in Elementary Education and Wide-Range German Education, and in 2022 he attained a Graduate Certificate in Bioethics from Concordia University in Mequon, Wis. He hopes to pursue a master's and doctorate in bioethics and philosophy within the next few years.

Phil serves as a National Board Member for Christian Life Resources, which is a para-synodical organization for the WELS (Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod) that addresses family and life issues. He looks forward to providing a bible study at Immanuel this coming February (2025) called, “Makerspace: Bioethics and the Christian.”

He is married to Staci Warnecke, and they have been blessed with a daughter. In his spare time, Mr. Warnecke enjoys music and learning languages. (He often blesses Immanuel’s worship services with his organ playing and other musical talents.) He also enjoys his interests in philosophy and bioethics.

Welcome to Immanuel, Phil and Staci and family!
